Candyshock is the light of L10,
the Italian company that distributes coolness all over the world.
We consider it the handkerchief in the pocket, the texture on the porcelain plate,
it is Mars in the distance in the starry sky.
A lucky holiday.
The idea of Candyshock was born on a trip to Hong Kong, back in 2019. We were travelers in a foreign country, we spoke very little Chinese and we were hungry for novelty (and “spaghetti risciò”).
Every day we explored the city when one night we suddenly came across a sign outside a restaurant. Nobody knew its meaning, but we wondered if the restaurant would have had the same energy without that detail.
“We wanted a place
in people’s minds”
And so, the light bulb turned on… so to speak!
Why not create details for our business too?
That evening we thought of Candyshock,
we barely mentioned it, the name wasn’t that,
but the energy was the same.
Back in Italy we already had many designs in mind.
We didn’t want to be mainstream, we wanted a place in people’s minds and to get to know a part of them.
Candyshock is about you.
Candyshock was born this way.
For us, an empty wall is like a canvas waiting to be decorated. With CandyShock signs you say something about yourself without speaking, you can describe your personality with a touch of light.
Our concept goes straight to people’s hearts, so much that the signs were still under development when the first orders had already arrived.
